The offices of Cook Notary & Auto Title and Brian P. Cook-Insurance were both founded in the year 2000. Our original location was 1406 Newton Street in Gretna. Our current location of 1801 Lafayette Street in Gretna allows us to effectively serve our customers, providing them with fast and efficient, first-class Notary, Auto Title and Insurance services.

In the beginning our office provided notary and auto title services only. However, seeing the need for auto insurance, Brian P. Cook-Insurance was formed. Since then we have become a Public Tag Office for the Department of Motor Vehicles, which gives us the ability to issue your license plate and registration for your vehicle on site, while you wait.

Our Agency now offers a full range of insurance products such as Homeowners, Rental, Flood, Business General Liability and Workers Compensation, in addition to our Auto Insurance. Thank you for visiting our web site. Please feel free to call or visit our office today.

  I’ve visited Brian Cook’s business on three separate occasions and it was nothing but professional and excellent service each and every time! His location can handle title transfers, and/or get your license plate and registration issued while you wait…..if this were the DMV, or a government run business, you’d be waiting literally hours, but NOT here! I was able to get my title transferred within 25 minutes. I had all of my documents ready because I knew what to expect and I was out within my lunch break! I appreciate the professionalism your ladies show in your office! They were very patient and courteous to an elderly women that couldn’t hear very well!
